Music Team Auditions

What to Expect

The application process will consist of two parts. First, fill out the music team application form below so we can get to know more about you and your prior experience. Second, you will record a video audition to send us. We will have you record 1-2 of the selected songs to sing or play, depending on your instrument. For each instrument or vocal part, we expect that your audition recording will include the part just as it is played on the recording.

Practice Materials 

Female Vocals

For female vocalists, we will have you sing lead vocals on Who You Say I Am and harmony on Living Hope. For the harmony section, we will not have a click track, we will have one of our worship leaders sing with you.

Male Vocals

For male vocalists, we will have you sing lead vocals on Living Hope and harmony on Who You Say I Am. For the harmony section, we will not have a click track, we will have one of our worship leaders sing with you.

Drums

For drummers, we will have you play King of Kings. Included below are audio files of the original song, a practice track with the drums and a practice track without the drums. The last file is what you will play along to at your audition.

Piano

For piano players, we will have you play Holy (Song of the Ages). Included below are audio files of the original song, a practice track with the piano part and a practice track without the piano part. The last file is what you will play along to at your audition.

Electric Guitar

For electric guitarists, we will have you play Great Things. You will need to bring your own instrument and effects pedals. We do have an amplifier at the church that you can use. Included below are audio files of the original song, a practice track with the electric part and a practice track without the electric part. The last file is what you will play along to at your audition.

Bass

For bass players, we will have you play Great Things. You will not need to bring your own instrument to the audition. Included below are audio files of the original song, a practice track with the bass part and a practice track without the bass part. The last file is what you will play along to at your audition.
