Ukraine 2025
Last year, 7 Dubuque residents traveled to Ukraine and partnered with a global Christian missionary organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). YWAM assembled a larger group of about 100 people from all over the world and together they helped build new houses for people whose homes had been destroyed during the war, ran kids' camp and shared the good news of Jesus.

This year, we want you to join us as we send 12 local men and women to Ukraine to again partner with YWAM and people from all over the world to love and do more of that same good work for the Ukrainian people. Our goal is to raise $25,000 - the cost to purchase all of the supplies and completely build two homes!

There are several ways you can personally get involved:
(1) First, please pray! Only by God’s grace is all of this possible. Pray the beautiful souls in Ukraine would hear about the love of Christ, that God would bring an end to the war, and our team would have hearts prepared to love & serve.
(2) Click below and buy a $20 ticket and attend a citywide fundraiser on Thursday, July 23 at the Dubuque Golf & Country Club. Your ticket will let us know you’re coming so we can include you in heavy hors d’oeuvres, some great entertainment and a short presentation from some of our team members.
(3) If you aren’t able to join us for the fundraising event, you can click the other button and give directly through our website. Every dollar you give will go to YWAM and be used to purchase everything we need to build two houses. Veritas Church is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your contribution is treated as a charitable donation and is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
